I wasted a Saturday afternoon tinkering with my .bash_profile and automating some of the regular maintenance I run on my Mac Mini Server, so I thought I would share it in the off chance it could save someone time.

We had an unexpected visitor at home tonight. A stray cat decided to set up shop outside the window like I’ve only ever seen in Tom and Jerry cartoons.

In the last post I wrote about a script I have been working on to manage batch video transcoding. I decided that it has progressed enough to reach 1.0 status. So far I’ve set up these features:

A few months back I thought I’d try to track River Song through the Doctor’s timeline. After about a week of research, and another week of rewatching the episodes to double-check, I came up with this list. At the time of writing, this list includes all of River Song’s interactions with the Doctor following her chronology.
